Little Dreamers is a  group of young adults that have recently started up a charity. We have found that there is a need for support for the siblings of sick children, as well as young carers who are put into a position of caring for their unwell/unfit parent. Little Dreamers is around to support the sometimes left out kids, the kids that are sometimes forgotten about or are unable to do things like their friends.

Maddy's little brother Charlie has a range of chronic illnesses and allergies. So she has been right in the middle of everything before and started up this charity along with her two friends, Bec and Ash.

Little Dreamers has currently raised just over $20,000 and the 3 of us are all only 16 years old.

We have recently just competed in function called Youth Inspire, which gave different groups of young people the chance to make their charity dreams come true with the first prize of $3000. Through this project we came 3rd and won $500 and the Most Promising Project award. We presented our project as follows: Our project is to start a dream fund for young people with sick siblings, as well as young carers, to come to if they want an experience they may not be able to afford or organise. That may be something like going to a filming of The Footy Show or going to their favourite bands concert.

We have recently acquired the help of well-known jazz artist, David Campbell. He is willing to help our charity with all of our needs.
